Attitude

[There was a man who made his living selling balloons.He sell balloons of various colors. When his business became vacant,he used to release the helium-filled balloons into the air, when the visiting children saw those awesome balloons,they would come to him and his business goes up . All day, he continued to release a balloon whenever his sales slowed down. One day when he was in his business process, a little boy asked him," If you release a black balloon, would that also fly as like red does?".Moved by his question, the man replied gently , "Son, its not the color of the balloon, its actually whats inside which made it goes up".]

This very same principle applies in our lives: Its what's inside that counts.And whats inside of us go up is our POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

YOUR ATTITUDE CONTRIBUTES YOUR SUCCESS

A study done to Harvard Univeristy found that when a person gets a job or a promotion,85% of the time it is because of his/her attitude,and only 15% of the time cz of intelligence and knowledge of his related topics. Attitude is the most important and invaluable term in english language which applied to every part, every sphere of life , including personal and professional life. Can an executive or officer be a best officer without a good attitude? Can a student beats 100% without postive attitude? So, the foundation of success, regardless of our chosen field, is attitude.

(ACRES OF DIAMONDS)

[Smith was a farmer who was happy and content.He was happy because he was content and he was content as he as happy.One day one wise man came to him and told him the glory of diamonds & the power of them. The wise man said "If you had a diamond the size of your thumb, you could buy your own town. If you had diamond, the size of your fist, you would probably buy your own country". And the man left.That very night Smith was not able to sleep.He was unhappy cz he was discontented and vice versa.

After some days,Smith sold his farm, and went off in search of diamonds. He looked all over his city, country but couldn't able to find any. He looked all over America, Africa but couldn't find any.He looked whole Europe still his hand was empty. By the time he reached to Australia, he was physically, mentally, emotionally and financially tired and depleted.He was so disheartened that he commited suicide.Back home, the person who had brought his farm was harvesting he saw something sparkling far away, the morning rays of the sun hit a stone and made it sparkle like a rainbow.He thought that stone would be a tool to decorate his living room. After some duration, that very wise man came and saw the stone sparkling. He asked to that man ,"Is Smith back home?"The new owner replied "No, why do you ask?" The wise man replied"Bcoz that is a diamond and smith went in search of them."The owner said." No, thats just a stone i picked up from a stream.Come i will show you.There are many more. They went and picked some samples for analysis.Sure, those stones were DIAMONDS .Awesome, they found that the farm was indeed decorated with acres of diamonds.]

Morals of this story

1.When our attitude is right or positive, we'll be walking on acres of diamonds.Opportunity always stays under our feet.All we need to do is to recognize it.

2. Grass always look greener on the another side (this means we, humans always perceive best of others, we dont see ours as best)

3. Opportunity only knocks once.The next one may be better or worst, but never the same one.That is why its so crucial to make right decision at the right time.{ A right decision at wrong time will definately becomes a wrong decision}

(DAVID AND GOLIATH)

[We all know the Biblical story of David and Goliath.Goliath was a giant of a man. He had cropped fear in everyone's heart. One day, a 17-years-old boy came to visit his brothers and asked."Why dont you all stand up and fight the giant?"Dont you see he is too big to hit and beat?" But David replied,"No, he is too big to miss, not big to hit."The rest is history. We all know David killed the giant with the catapult or slingshot. Same giant different attitude and perceptions.]

Here also our attitude determines how we look a particular condition or setback.It determines our success, destiny and all.Attitude is the keyfactor which also increase our confidence level. If we think we can't accomplish the given task we are right but if we think we can do we are again right. Sooo, all we need to have is optimistic view of whatever stuff is put in front of us,and success is not far..The thing which i mentioned above are also defined in many books of "keith harrel" also known as Dr. Attitude, whose principle is "ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING", on your path to success. He is a motivator, speaker and multi-talented personality and he believes everything he is now is by his attitude as he is also experienced in many attitude survey .

Be Affirmative:

Positive thinking or positive attitude is also termed as affirmative thinking. It is a way of looking or observing at your problems and trying to solve them through constructive action. It helps you build on your strengths, overcome your weaknesses. It helps you to focus on the good things in life and serves as a magnet, attracting everything good around you to strengthen your self-confidence , self-esteem.

Each of us is endowed with myriads of talents and capabilities. Fortunately some of us recognize them earlier and start nurturing them. For some, it takes sometime to realise what they are chiefly interested in, and what they are capable of. Once this realisation dawns, what is required is a concentric effort and postitive attitude.

The Next important factor is time. You must learn to Master Time but not let Master you. The other hurdles or hindrances that stand between you and postitive thinking is fear and worry.

Try to erase these two negative aspects and cultivate self-reliance,love,imagination,enthusiasm and sense of humour.

To help achieve all the above, practice the art of Meditation or Yoga; keep telling yourself that you are endowed with the power to accomplish everything you desire.

Remember only positive mental attitude can translate your wish into action and a new Successful "YOU" will emerge.
